Marriott Summer fun in the sun!!

We have had a wonderful summer and I just can't believe that school starts in less than a month! Here are some of the highlights...


Here's my "little man" just chillin!! My glasses have never quit fit the same after he got a hold of them.


Swimming lessons was a MUST!! My kids have never lived in a pool infested community and the only experience they have had swimming was at the public pool or nearest pond near our town (back East) so now that we have a pool, and thanks to Mrs. Kristen, these kids are pros!




Bekah is a natural!!


Mikayla was the big helper and example!!


Check out Joseph... NO HANDS!!! For someone who once cried at the sight of bathtub water, he's come a LONG way!!


The girls had a great time at Aunt Erica's marvelous summer theatre workshop! They are still singing, "Oh I just can't wait to be king"!!! Thanks ERICA!

Home Sweet Home!!!

Here it is!! Our first official home purchase. We are very excited to have a home we call our own. Which I'm still wondering why if we have a mortgage payment to a bank for the next thirty years why aren't they the ones coming to fix leaky faucets and broken pool pumps? Isn't that what someone does who holds the lein of a home?! How is a bank any different from a Landlord yet somehow excempt from all the maintenance and care?! I'm telling ya, I shouldn've been in the banking business... they have it all!

Seriously though, we are enjoying the space and stability and look forward to years of adventure and growth and memories. I'm still working on personalizing the inside!! Before and after pics. to come...
